July Newsletter

Dear Stewart’s Mill HOA residents,

Welcome to the July 2026 edition of the Stewart’s Mill Community Newsletter. As summer is now in full swing and our community comes alive with outdoor activities, the Homeowners Association Board is excited to share our latest updates, progress reports, and important safety reminders to ensure our neighborhood remains a wonderful, thriving place for every resident.

In this month's issue, the Board extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our recent First Open Board Meeting. Your voice, engagement, and willingness to share ideas are vital as we work toward building a community rooted in transparency and trust. To sustain this positive momentum and continue making improvements to our shared spaces—such as our ongoing landscaping projects—we are actively seeking passionate volunteers to join our various committees. Whether you are interested in safety, communications, landscaping, or joining the welcome team, there is a place for you to make a meaningful difference. We also provide an overview of the community's financial health, detailing why timely association fee payments function much like a vital business resource to fund the essential maintenance and future investments our neighborhood depends on.

This newsletter also addresses a few critical operational and safety issues affecting our residents. The Board offers a transparent explanation regarding the recent pool closure. While repairs for missing tiles were already planned around the holiday to minimize disruption, an external health department report accelerated the timeline to a strict July 1st deadline. This forced a complete closure to prevent the pool from being shut down for the entire summer. We kindly ask that residents bring any future concerns directly to the Board first so we can resolve matters promptly and minimize disruptions for everyone.

Additionally, we review important guidelines for clubhouse reservations, which can now be conveniently booked up to three months in advance through the CMA portal. You will also find critical reminders regarding neighborhood safety, pet owner responsibilities, and our "top five areas of concern" raised by the community, which include security, appearance, finance, parking, and management response times. Finally, we address several recent safety infractions and behavioral concerns involving community youth. We urge parents to actively speak with their children about treating neighbors with respect, adhering to community rules, and staying safe after dark.
